The Floatstep™ eases entry and exit of crew and passengers on helicopters equipped with emergency flotation landing gear. In addition, the extended length of the Floatstep™ allows safe, easy access to engine and transmission compartments for preflight inspection and other maintenance functions. Attached to the forward and rear crosstubes, the Floatstep™ allows clearance for inflated float bags and incorporates float guards to ensure floats are not entangled with the step during inflation. The Floatstep™ Kit is available for both Pan-Style and Lightweight Pop-Out Float configurations.
