The Folding Maintenance Step™ provides a practical solution to the problem of access to the cabin roof for maintenance and preflight functions. The step is Non-Skid-Coated for the safety of the maintenance and flight crews. Because it is conveniently mounted to the aircraft, the possibility of damage to the aircraft from ladders or other step equipment is eliminated. The left Folding Maintenance Step™ also includes a Baggage Door Retention Strap to prevent damage to the cargo door.
