Product Details

The Full Length Skid Guard Kit protects skid tube from wear and chafing from the hoist cable during operations. Also, protects the rope from cuts and abrasions during rappelling operations. The guard is easy to install and is available for both the L/H and R/H side. The guard protects outboard side of the skid tube and extends from saddle to saddle and past the middle-top portion of the skid tube. Can be installed with or without ground handling lugs.

The Full length Skid Guard Kit can be installed on BHTI OEM or Aeronautical Accessories skid tubes. Guard is not compatible on aircraft with skid mounted emergency flotation gear or low skid landing gear with BHT powered step installed. Aircraft with this equipment requires the installation of Aeronautical Accessories branded Float Gear Skid Guard Kit, P/N: 412-150-518.
