The Expanded Instrument Panel replaces the standard Bell Instrument panel and allows for the installation of a variety of avionics and other mission-related equipment. The unique design offers the helicopter operator a wider range of equipment locations and ease of installation.

There are four different versions of the 505 Expanded Instrument Panel. Aeronautical Accessories offers P/N 505-880-001 (12” Monitor) and -003 (up to 17” Monitor) for a Bell 505 that is not equipped with air conditioning, while P/N 505-880-002 (12” Monitor) and -004 (up to 17” Monitor) includes the necessary assembly components to accommodate a 505 with air conditioning.
