Aeronautical Accessories Uses Experience and Innovation
To Resolve HAL Certification Delays
Aeronautical Accessories recently assisted Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) in their need for a more durable skid shoe for high-speed landings. Based in Bengaluru, India, HAL had been facing military certification delays due to skid shoe failures. Through manufacturing expertise and 3-D scanning, a new carbide skid shoe was developed. HAL subsequently flight-tested and accepted two new prototype skid shoe sets from Aeronautical Accessories which proved to be more robust, paving the way for future success.

Work-Based Learning Program
A Success at Aeronautical Accessories
Since 2023, our workforce initiative has connected Aeronautical Accessories with local schools through career events. To date, the Work-Based Learning (WBL) program has hosted 40 students from 9 schools, resulting in 9 full-time hires. These team members continue their career development through the machinist apprenticeship program at Northeast State’s Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM), ensuring long-term success.

Stephanie Botts has been promoted to lead the global Aeronautical Accessories Sales Team. She has over 15 years of aviation experience including previous roles in finance, customer care, and strategic campaigns with Bell and Aeronautical Accessories. Backed by an MBA, she most recently served as Aftermarket Strategic Campaign Manager. Stephanie will be focused on steering Aeronautical Accessories’ product offering, availability, customer support, as well as new business opportunities.
