The Skid Tube Protector is sandwiched between the skid shoes and the skid tube, eliminating unsightly clamps and the necessity of stepping around them when loading and unloading passengers. The skid shoes have a Tungsten-Carbide contact surface for increased wear, while the base material is stainless steel.
